CSO Pre-Meeting

The Global Fund Advocates Network Asia-Pacific (GFAN AP), APCASO and partners (including the Global Fund Community, Rights and Gender Platforms) with the support of the Malaria World Congress is co-organising a 2 day pre-meeting for Malaria Civil Society prior to the Malaria World Congress on the 29th and 30th June at the Burnet Institute. 

The objectives of the two-day Global Malaria Civil Society and Strategising and Advocacy Pre-Meeting are to:

1.     Provide orientation to the CS partners to facilitate their maximum engagement at the Congress;

2.     Facilitate partnership-building between the CS partners and the Congress organisers and key stakeholders;

3.     Update malaria CS partners on the Global Fund’s 6thReplenishment efforts and mobilise CS commitment to join the efforts; and

4.     Develop a shared vision and roadmap for building a global malaria civil society movement.
